West Sea Scenic Area (Xihai Jingqu)

Hiking westward from North Sea (Beihai) for 20 minutes, one comes to Cloud-dispelling Pavilion in West Sea Scenic Area. It is fantastic to see misty clouds ascending from the deep valley in front of the pavilion. Climbing up along the steepy stairs, one will see a 10 meters high huge rock standing on a peak.

Flying-over Rock

The huge pear-shaped rock, 10 meters high, stands precariously on top of the cliff. The bottom of the rock is so separated from the ground that it looks as if it had just flying over afar.
