Day
by Day Itinerary

Day 1
|
Arrive inmorning
in Tunxi (Huanshan City) and take a 1.5-hour drive to reach
the foothill of Huangshan. You will ascend the eastern side
of Huangshan by cable car, then begin our 7 km (4.3 mi) hike
to the weastern side of the mountain. On our hike we will take
in Huangshan's most spectacular vistas and reach its highest
peak - Lotus Peak (5,900 ft/1800 m). You will stay overnight
at the summit, and weather permitting, take in a beautiful sunset
and sunrise. |

Day 2
|
After sunrise, you'll descend the mountain by cable car
or foot. Around noon you will be at Hot Spring Scenic area.
Stay at Hot Spring Scenic Area tonight.

Day 3
|
Driving westward for about 1.5 hour, explore the old houses
in the two ancient villages. Xi'di and Hongcun is famous for
their architectures. What's amazing is that people are still
living in the houses bulit hundreds years ago. Drive back
to Huangshan city (Tunxi) in evening.
