Celestial Sea Scenic Area (Tianhai Jingqu)

Located in the center of Mt. Huangshan at an elevation above 1600 meters (5250 feet), Celestial sea has an overlook of whole mountain range. Standing on the top of Guangmingding (Brightness top), one can see the landscape changes gradually from the Shanshui-Painting-like scenery in North and West Sea Scenic area to the magnificent peaks soaring up almost vertically on the ground in Jade Screen Scenic Area.

At an elevation of 1,860 meters (6102 feet), this it is the second highest peak of Mt. Huangshan. Located in the central part of the mountain, this peak it is the best place for watching the sunrise and the sea of clouds.
